The Proposal
So, fast forward...3 years later.
I was having an insanely hectic week at work and had a client in town. It was our 3 year anniversary and I was pretty bummed when we had to cancel the our anniversary dinner reservations so that I could join my co-workers at a dinner with the client.
As luck would have it, the client ended up taking an earlier flight and canceled dinner.
So our dinner was back on at the last minute. We sort of winged it and he picked me up at work and we headed to Morton's Steakhouse. After a delicious meal and a chocolate souffle, we left the restaurant and walked back to the car.
As we were leaving the Coral Gables area, he pulled over in front of Books and Books...where we met almost 3 years prior and asked me to get off the car. As we walked in front of the store, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I of course, said YES!!!
I never thought I would find this kind of love, but I did...AND WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!
